The Horn: From Historic Grocery to Community Hub

In the heart of Lake George village, a building with decades of history has found new life. The former Lake George Grocery — a longtime staple of the community — has been transformed into The Horn, a community center and artisan goods shop serving Lincoln Township and beyond.

A Building Worth Saving

Lake George Grocery was more than a store. It was a gathering point, a place where neighbors ran into each other and caught up on local news. When the opportunity arose to purchase the building in 2021, Unicorn saw a chance to preserve that spirit while giving the space a new purpose.

The Transformation

With a $200,000 investment in renovations, the building was carefully updated while honoring its character. The result is a flexible, welcoming space that serves the community in multiple ways. After months of work, The Horn soft-launched in 2022 and has been growing ever since.
