Our Mission: Building a Stronger Lincoln Township Together

Unicorn Gives was founded with a simple belief: small communities thrive when people invest in them — not just with money, but with time, energy, and genuine care. Lincoln Township is our home, and we are committed to making it stronger for everyone who lives here.

Three Pillars of Community Investment

Our work is built around three connected efforts, each playing a different role in strengthening the township:

The Horn — Community Center

The Horn is our physical home base in Lake George village. A renovated historic building, it serves as a community gathering space, artisan goods shop, and event venue. It is the place where neighbors meet, local makers sell their work, and new ideas take root.

The Mane — Local Business Revitalization

The Mane represents our investment in local commerce. By operating and supporting small businesses in the township, we help keep economic activity local and create opportunities for residents. A healthy local economy means a healthier community.

Civic Engagement — Township Transparency

This website is our third pillar. We believe residents deserve easy access to information about how their township operates — meeting schedules, budgets, public notices, and planning decisions. An informed community is an empowered community. We publish township information here so that everyone can participate in the decisions that affect their daily lives.

Our Values

Everything we do is guided by four core principles:

• Community First — Every decision starts with the question: does this benefit the people who live here?
• Transparency — We share information openly, whether it is about our own programs or township government
• Inclusion — Our doors, programs, and information are open to everyone in the township
• Action — Good intentions matter, but results matter more. We show up and do the work.

How You Can Help

Building a stronger community is not a one-organization job. Here is how you can be part of it:

• Volunteer — Lend your time and skills to community programs and events
• Attend Events — Show up, connect with neighbors, and be part of what is happening
• Stay Informed — Follow the news and subscribe for updates on township matters
• Visit The Horn — Support local artisans and be part of our gathering space

Lincoln Township has a bright future. We are glad you are here to help build it.
