The Clare County Road Commission is a separate entity from county government and maintains county roads, bridges, and rights-of-way. Report potholes, road damage, fallen trees, flooding, or other road hazards by calling (989) 539-2151 during business hours. For after-hours emergencies affecting road safety, call Central Dispatch at (989) 539-1336. Note: city streets in Clare and Harrison are maintained by their respective city governments, not the Road Commission.
